The Manitoba Moose announced today they have released defencemen Kyle Bushee from his professional tryout contract.
Bushee, 26, played in two games after signing his PTO on Apr. 1/11. The Otsego, MI native appeared in 67 games this season with the Wheeling Nailers of the ECHL, who begin their Kelly Cup playoffs tonight vs. South Carolina. The Otsego, MI native scored 31 points (7g, 24a) and 48 penalty minutes in the regular season. Bushee has now played in 216 career games in the ECHL in four years with Wheeling, Cincinnati, and the Johnstown Chiefs where he's scored 72 points (17g, 55a) and collected 144 penalty minutes.
