
Panthers Reassign Comrie to Cincinnati Cyclones

(Rochester, NY)... Florida Panthers General Manager Dale Tallon announced today that the club has reassigned rookie defenseman Adam Comrie to the ECHL's Cincinnati Cyclones from the Rochester Americans of the American Hockey League.
Comrie, 20, leaves the Amerks after registering five assists and 14 penalty minutes in 41 AHL games this season. In 13 games with the Cyclones, the 6-foot-4, 213-pound blueliner has notched four goals and assisted on four others for eight points, in addition to 18 penalty minutes and plus-three on-ice rating. He scored his first professional goal on January 28th against South Carolina. The Kanata, Ontario, native is currently in his first professional season after being selected in the third round (80th overall) by the Florida Panthers in the 2008 National Hockey League Entry Draft.
The Amerks return home on Friday, April 8th as they close out their season series with the Binghamton Senators at The Blue Cross Arena. Fans can tune in for all the live action starting at 7:35 p.m. on SportsRadio 1280 WHTK and FM 107.3, Rochester's Sports Talk. The game will also be televised live on Time Warner Cable SportsNet.
