Monterey Bay FC News Release
WATSONVILLE, Calif. - Monterey Bay Football Club (Monterey Bay F.C.) forward Jesse Maldonado and midfielder and Watsonville native Adrian Rebollar visited Pajaro Valley High School of the Pajaro Valley Joint Unified School District in Watsonville, California on Thursday, May 11. Maldonado and Rebollar spoke to the students in the gym about their respective paths to professional soccer before opening up the floor to questions. Afterwards, the two took photos and signed autographs with the students.
"It's always a great time being in Watsonville," said Rebollar. "Especially when I have the opportunity to speak in front of students and give my advice and encouragement for their future plans."
"It is always important to show love back to the ones who support us every game," said Maldonado. "Personally, being out in the community makes me feel like I'm giving back in a way with just simply being a figure and a role model to the younger community to show that anything is possible."
