What they had to say:
Head Coach Alen Marcina
(On the mood around the team heading into Charleston this week ...)
"The guys have been positive all the way through the season. The amount of challenges and adversity we faced and we've overcome. We're getting results. Yes, some of those ties we wanted to be wins. We've done more than enough to win games. We trust in the process, we've been dominating opponents in terms of shots taken, shots on target, our pressing actions are number 1 in the league. We're second in the league for fewest goals conceded and most shots taken. All in all that's a pretty good place. Of course we want to turn some of those draws into wins but there's no magic wand to do it. Just continue to do the right things as we've been doing and results will come. The good thing is we're going to have a lot of players coming back."
Defender Fabien Garcia
(On the preparation for the game against Charleston...)
"Nothing different for the opponent. Just a big game. That's a good week we just prepare. Last weekend in Las Vegas that was a good opponent too. Nothing changed for Las Vegas that was on the bottom of the west and Charleston on the top of the east. I feel like we attack the same opponent every time with the same intensity and the same motivation. That's gonna be a good trip to Charleston with a good team. Focus on ourselves first and I think the team is getting better week after week. I'm just excited to compete against these guys."
