Upcoming Games
The Manchester Monarchs return to action on Saturday, November 23 when they host the Providence Bruins at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Game time is set for 7:35 p.m. The winner of Saturday's game will have the inside track for first place in the North Division. The Monarchs stay in the division by hosting the Lowell Lock Monsters at 4:05 on Sunday, November 24. Sunday is also Street Hockey Giveaway Day, courtesy of PEPSI. The Manchester Monarchs will get their first taste of Western Conference hockey when they welcome the Philadelphia Phantoms to the Verizon Wireless Arena on Saturday, November 30 at 7:35 p.m. The Phantoms reside in the South Division of the Western Conference, along with the Norfolk Admirals, the Hershey Bears and the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins.
Holiday Gift Pack
Hockey fans, the Monarchs have the perfect holiday gift for the hockey fan in your life. The Monarchs are offering Flex Packs, which are booklets of 10 ticket vouchers that can be redeemed for any regular season game. The Flex Packs are offered in the gold and silver levels of the Verizon Wireless Arena. Fans can also pick up a Monarchs Stocking Stuffer Ticket Package, which consists of four gold level vouchers. Monarchs Yearbooks On Sale
Looking for stocking stuffers for the holiday season? How about the Monarchs 2002-03 Monarchs Yearbook? The Yearbook is an 86-page, full-color look inside the organization. Copies are selling quickly, so get yours today. The Yearbooks are on sale now at the Monarchs Program Stands in the concourse. They are also on sale at the merchandise kiosks and at the Monarchs Pro Shop.
Holiday Pro Shop Hours
The Monarchs Pro Shop will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29 for the Thanksgiving Holiday. The Pro Shop will reopen for business on Saturday, November 30. Store hours on Saturday will be 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The store will also reopen one hour before the Monarchs game that day. The Pro Shop's regualr hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Royal Road Warriors Gearing Up
The Royal Road Warriors, a group of Monarchs fans who love to follow their team everywhere, have already started their bus trips for the 2002-03 season. The group is scheduled to travel to 19 road games this season and they encourage you to sign up and make the trip along with them. The next road trip is on Friday, November 29 when the Road Warriors travel to the Worcester Centrum Centre to see the Monarchs take on the Worcester IceCats. The price is $34 per person and the bus leaves the Macy's parking lot in Bedford, NH at 4:45 p.m. To sign up, look for the Road Warriors table behind section 111/112 tonight or contact Russ Cooper at (603) 624-9511 or Steve Englert at (603) 629-9620.
Travis Scott Bobblehead Night
The first 5,000 fans attending the game Monarchs game vs. the Saint John Flames of Friday, December 20 will receive a free Travis Scott bobblehead doll, courtesy of Pepsi. For more information, call (603) 626-7825.
Monarchs Radio Moves To FM For Sunday's Game Because of a scheduling conflict, the Monarchs radio broadcast on Sunday will be heard on Rock 101 (WGIR FM) starting with pre-game show coverage at 3:35 p.m. The Monarchs game will also be heard on the Monarchs Radio Network (930 WGIN, 1540 WGIP, 1400 WTSL) and on the world wide web at monarchshockey.com.
