Monarchs Sign Anthony Pisano

MANCHESTER, N.H. - Manchester Monarchs Head Coach, Rich Seeley, announced today that Anthony Pisano has been signed by the team.

Pisano, a 6-foot-6, 250-pound defenseman, played in 11 games this season for the Louisiana IceGators (SPHL), recording three points on three assists and 72 penalty minutes.

Pisano has played five ECHL games in his career with the Kalamazoo Wings (Thursday's opponent), Reading Royals and Trenton Titans. In the 2012-13 season, Pisano played in 30 games for the Danbury Whalers (FHL), scoring eight points on two goals and six assists, while earning 204 penalty minutes.

Pisano will join the Monarchs in Kalamazoo, Mich. for their game Thursday, Dec. 17 (10:30 a.m.) against the Wings.
