Admirals Defenseman Joe Marciano Retires

NORFOLK, Va. - The Norfolk Admirals announce today that defenseman Joe Marciano has retired.
Marciano, 25, made his professional debut in 2013 with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound defenseman went on to play 145 career ECHL games with Orlando, Bakersfield and Norfolk from 2013-15 after four seasons at Colorado College. Marciano totaled five goals, 15 assists and 20 points as a professional. A native of Alta Loma, Ca., Marciano had two assists and 12 penalty minutes in 17 games for the Admirals this season.
