
Monarchs Playoff On-Sale Slated For Monday

MANCHESTER, NH â 2005 Calder Cup playoff tickets for the Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, will go on sale on Monday, April 18 at 9:30 a.m. at the Verizon Wireless Arena box office.
Starting on Monday, first round playoff tickets will also be available by calling Ticketmaster at (603) 868-7300, or by visiting Ticketmaster on-line at www.ticketmaster.com. Fans will also be able to purchase first round playoff tickets at all Ticketmaster locations, including Filene's at the Mall of New Hampshire.
Playoff ticket prices will be $18.50 for adults in the Gold level and $13.25 for adults in the Silver level of the Verizon Wireless Arena, $16.50 for seniors (65 and older) in the Gold level and $11.25 for seniors in the Silver level and $10.75 for youth tickets (12 and under) in both levels. With one week remaining in the regular season, it appears the Monarchs will most likely meet either the Providence Bruins or the Lowell Lock Monsters in the first round of the 2005 Calder Cup playoffs.
If the Monarchs meet the Bruins in the first round, they'll begin a best-of-seven series at the Verizon Wireless Arena on Friday, April 22.

Atlantic Division Title Chase Enters Final Week: The Monarchs enter this week's action with a four-point lead over the Hartford Wolf Pack in the race for the American Hockey League's Atlantic Division title.
If the Monarchs beat the Wolf Pack on Wednesday night at the Hartford Civic Center (7:05 p.m. start), they'll need to win just one of their final three regular season games to clinch their first-ever division title.
The Monarchs, with a record of 49-19-4-4 and 106 points, and the Wolf Pack, with a record of 48-22-3-3 and 102 points, each have four games remaining on their schedules.
Upcoming Schedule: After Wednesday night's contest at the Hartford Civic Center, the Monarchs will host their final home game of the 2004-05 regular season when they welcome the Lowell Lock Monsters to the Verizon Wireless Arena for a 7:35 p.m. contest on Friday night.
Ticket Availability: Single seats in the Gold level and 200 seats in the Silver level remain for Friday's game against the Lock Monsters.
After Friday's home game, the Monarchs will close out the regular season with road games against the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Saturday night (7:05 p.m.) and the Worcester IceCats (4:05 p.m.) on Sunday night.
