Monarchs Announce 2006 Training Camp Roster

MANCHESTER, NH - The Manchester Monarchs, the primary affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings, on Friday announced that 34 players have been invited to the Monarchs 2006 Training Camp, which opens on Sunday, September 24 with equipment fitting and pickup at the Verizon Wireless Arena.
The first on-ice workouts for training camp participants will take place on Monday, September 25 at the Verizon Wireless Arena following physicals. The first on-ice session will start with group one at 10:00 a.m., followed by an intra-squad scrimmage at 11:00 a.m. and then group two's on-ice session at 12:00 p.m.
Tickets for the Manchester-Worcester exhibition game on September 30 at the Tri-Town Ice Arena are on sale now. Fans can purchase tickets for $5.00 at the Monarchs Pro Shop, located in the main entrance of the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester (555 Elm Street) or at the Tri-Town Ice Arena.
The Monarchs open their sixth AHL season at home against the Worcester Sharks on Saturday, October 7 at 7:35 p.m. Individual tickets for the Monarchs 2006-07 season go on sale Thursday, September 21.
