GOLDEN VALLEY, Minn. - Minnesota United has promoted Stacey Hardin to head athletic trainer, the club announced today. Hardin served as the Loons' assistant athletic trainer during their inaugural season in Major League Soccer.

"I am excited to continue working within an organization that's committed to the organic growth of professional soccer in Minnesota," said Hardin. "It's a privilege to work with an exceptionally talented and dedicated group of medical professionals and technical staff."

Prior to her time with MNUFC, Hardin worked at a sports medicine facility in Los Angeles, California with professional, collegiate and retired athletes. She also served as an athletic trainer at Boston University from 2013-16, where she coordinated care for men's soccer, men's crew, wrestling, track and field and cross country.

Hardin worked as an adjunct faculty member and preceptor at Boston University's College of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences, Sargent College, in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic Training. She completed her bachelor's degree in athletic training and doctorate in physical therapy at Boston University in 2011 and 2013, respectively.
