
Mississippi Announces Top Players In October

BILOXI, Miss. â Mississippi Sea Wolves Professional Hockey announced today that defenseman Kerry Ellis-Toddington has been named the organization's Player of the Month for October, defenseman Mike Jarmuth is the Rookie of the Month, while Jason Wolfe takes the Goaltender of the Month honors.
In five October games, the Sea Wolves finished with a 3-2-0 record for a .600 win percentage.
Ellis-Toddington, 25, led Mississippi with three goals and tied for the team-lead with a plus/minus of +5. The 6-foot-1 and 205-pound Ellis-Toddington also collected two assists in five games. A native of Regina, Saskatchewan, Ellis-Toddington attended the American Hockey League training camp of the Manitoba Moose in 2004. He is in his third professional season and second year with the Sea Wolves.
Jarmuth, 22, registered one goal, which was his first pro tally on October 23 against Pensacola, and had a plus/minus of +2 in five games during the month of October. The 6-foot and 205-pound Jarmuth attended the AHL training camp of the Rochester Americans. A native of Monkton, Ontario, Jarmuth is in his first full season of pro hockey.
Wolfe, 26, appeared in four October games, while posting a 2-2-0 record. The 6-foot-5 and 230-pound Wolfe compiled a 3.12 goals against average and .914 save percentage. A native of College Park, Maryland, Wolfe is in his third full pro season and first year with Mississippi.
Mississippi takes to the ice with a home-and-home set starting at 6:35 p.m. CT on Friday against the Gwinnett Gladiators at The Arena at Gwinnett Center in Duluth, Georgia.
The Sea Wolves return home for a game at 7:35 p.m. on Saturday versus the Gladiators at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. Promotions include $2 hotdogs and $2 drafts from 6:30-8:30 p.m., a performance by True Worshippers. It's also Cellular South / WXXV Fox 25 Honor Roll Night, offering two free kids coupons for each Honor Roll student in Hancock, Harrison, Jackson and Stone Counties. In addition, there is a postgame party at Treasure Bay Casino.
