Mississippi Sea Wolves News Release
BILOXI, Miss. â The Mississippi Sea Wolves announced today that center Stephen Greeley (STEE-vehn GREE-lee) has been activated off the 7-day injured reserve.
Greeley, 24, missed six games after being placed on the injured reserve on February 22. The 5-foot-7 and 160-pound Greeley has tallied one goal and two assists in four games with Mississippi. A native of Scituate, Massachusetts, Greeley was acquired in a trade with the Charlotte Checkers on February 7. Greeley is in his rookie season of professional hockey after playing four years at Boston University.
Greeley and the Sea Wolves take to the ice at 4:05 p.m. today against Pensacola at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum. The game will be highlighted by the Third Annual Face-Off Against Kids' Cancer event. Limited edition commemorative T-Shirts are still on sale at the hockey office by calling (228) 275-WOLF, which also includes a ticket to the game and an attached yellow voucher for $15 each.
Following the game today, there will be a commemorative jersey auction and postgame party from 7-9 p.m. tonight at the Beau Rivage, Magnolia Ballroom. The entire team will be present accompanied by their special children to benefit the Courtney Boynton Foundation and Candlelighters for Childhood Cancer of the Gulf Coast. To enter the postgame festivities at Beau Rivage, each fan must present their yellow voucher.
