
Missions Office Continues To Roll In 26-5 Win

San Antonio - The San Antonio Missions offense continued to be white hot as they belted seven home runs and collected 15 extra-base hits in a 26-5 win over the NW Arkansas Naturals Friday night at Nelson Wolff Stadium.
San Antonio scored 11 runs in the first two innings which proved to be more than enough offense for starter Jorge Reyes. The 26 run outburst comes just four days after a 23-10 Missions win at Tulsa, a game in which San Antonio set a franchise record with eight home runs.
Cody and Jeff Decker had two homers a piece, Blake Tekotte and Daniel Robertson each had a grand slam and Kyle Phillips hit a 440 foot home run to right field.
NOTES:
With his 3-5, two home run, four RBI performance tonight, Jaff Decker now has 11 hits in his last 20 at-bats (.550) and has four homers and 13 RBI in his last four gamesDecker leads the Texas League with 15 RBI.
James Darnell went 4-5 tonight to extend his hitting streak to seven games
The Missions have now scored 62 runs over their last four games
San Antonio leads all of Minor League Baseball with 20 home runs
The 26 runs scored by San Antonio tonight is a record for most runs scored by a Missions team at Nelson Wolff Stadium
