Minnesota Wild Recalls G Anton Khudobin From Houston

HOUSTON - Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher today announced the National Hockey League (NHL) club has recalled goaltender Anton Khudobin (who-DOH-bin) from the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL).

Khudobin, 23 (5/7/86), is 2-0-0 with a 0.86 GAA and a.979 SV% in two games with the Wild. This is the fifth time Khudobin has been recalled. He won his NHL debut in relief, Feb. 4 against Edmonton, playing 9:33 without allowing a goal. Khudobin also made 38 saves in a 2-1 win over Philadelphia on Feb. 6 in his first NHL start. Khudobin is 12-18-4 with a 2.44 GAA, a.904 SV% and four shutouts in 37 games with Houston this season. He participated in the AHL All-Star Game on Jan. 19 making a game-high 20 saves on 23 shots faced in the second period for PlanetUSA.
