
Minnesota Lynx Waive Kristen Rasmussen

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Lynx today announced that they have waived nine-year veteran forward Kristen Rasmussen. The Lynx originally acquired Rasmussen on March 14, 2008, from the Connecticut Sun in a trade involving Tamika Raymond.
Rasmussen, a 6-4 forward out of Michigan State, averaged 2.5 ppg and 2.7 rpg in 31 games last season for the Lynx. In 276 career games spanning nine seasons in the WNBA, Rasmussen holds averages of 4.4 ppg and 3.6 rpg.
