
Miners Playoff, All-Star Tickets Available September 1st

MARION, Ill. - The Southern Illinois Miners have announced the sale date for tickets to the Peoples National Bank 2010 Frontier League All-Star Game at Rent One Park as well as potential 2009 Miners home playoff games. Tickets for both events will go on sale on Sept. 1 at 8:30 a.m. at the Rent One Park box office or by calling (618) 998-8499.
"These are two marquee events for the Miners, and we're looking forward to the opportunity to host the best of the Frontier League for the fans in Southern Illinois," Miners General Manager Tim Arseneau.
The All-Star Game is scheduled for Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at 7:05 p.m. Ticket prices will be $6 for lawn seats, $10 for reserved seats and $12 for box seats. Home run derby will be held on Tuesday, July 13 at Rent One Park, and tickets will also be available on Sept. 1 for the derby. Home run derby tickets will start at $4 for lawn seats with reserved seats priced at $6 and box seats at $8.
The playoffs are scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Sept. 8 with the two division winners and the two wild card winners. Southern Illinois began the day in possession of a wild card spot, one half-game out of first place in the West Division. For the playoffs, tickets will be priced at $4 for lawn seats, $6 for reserved seats, $8 for box seats and $12 for club seats.
