MARION, Ill. Peoples National Bank, Miller Lite Koerner Distributor and New Country Z100 present Miners Music Fest featuring Jason Aldean with special guests LoCash Cowboys and Caitlin & Will this Saturday, Aug. 29 at Rent One Park.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m., and gates will open at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are still available and are priced at $35. All tickets are general admission seating and can be purchased at the Rent One box office as well as on line at www.southernillinoisminers.com or by calling 998-8499. Parking is available at Rent One Park for $5 or the Illinois Center Mall where shuttle service will be available before and immediately following the event for $5 per car.
We have been very pleased with the ticket sales to date. There are still plenty of tickets available if you haven?t purchased your tickets for the show. We?re looking forward to Saturday and showcasing Rent One Park and Southern Illinois as a great music venue for large outdoor shows, Miners Vice President Erik Haag said.
We can't thank Peoples National Bank, Bill Bonan II, Koerner Distributor, Mark Jones and Kristin Korn, the people at Miller Lite and New Country Z100, Steve Falat and Dave McKenzie enough for believing in this event and partnering with us, Haag added.
Fans will be invited to bring blankets and sit on the playing field; however lawn chairs are prohibited.
A native of Macon, Ga., Aldean's third album, Wide Open, is in stores now and features the hit singles She's Country and Big Green Tractor. Earlier this year he toured with country music star Toby Keith.
The LoCash Cowboys are comprised of Christopher Lucas and Preston Brust, two talented performers known for their high-energy shows. Caitlin & Will gained fame from winning CMT's Can You Duet. Their first CD, Dark Horse, is due out later this year.
