Millwood Added to Trenton Roster

(TRENTON, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, announce that RHP Kevin Millwood has been added to the roster and will start Game 1 of a doubleheader today scheduled to begin at 1:05 PM. In a corresponding move, outfielder Damon Sublett has been added to the Disabled List, retroactive to April 15.

Millwood made his Major League debut with the Atlanta Braves on July 14, 1997, and has amassed 159 Major League victories in a 14-year career with five different teams. On April 27, 2003, with the Philadelphia Phillies, the 36-year-old right hander threw a no-hitter at Veterans Stadium

against the San Francisco Giants. Most recently in 2010, Millwood went 4-16 with a 5.10 earned run average in 31 starts with the Baltimore Orioles. The Yankees signed Millwood to a minor league contract on March 25, 2011.
