Miller Leads Las Vegas to 4-2 Win

LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Wranglers® defeated the Alaska Aces 4-2 on Sunday afternoon in front of 3,579 fans at the Orleans Arena. Center Adam Miller completed his first hat trick of the season and added an assist for four points on the night. Center Chris Neiszner also scored as Las Vegas improved to 9-6-0 at home this season. Right wing Matt Beaudoin dished out two assists for the second straight night. Goalie John DeCaro won his ninth game of the season with 35 saves on 37 Alaska shots. The Wranglers will host Utah on Friday, January 2nd at 7:30 PM at the Orleans Arena.

Las Vegas struck early in the game with center Adam Miller scoring his fourth goal of the season just 16-seconds into the contest. Defenseman Chris St. Croix set up the goal, giving Las Vegas a 1-0 lead after one period of play.

In the second period center Chris Neiszner scored his tenth goal of the season at 13:17, giving the Wranglers a 2-0 lead. Adam Miller and Matt Beaudoin set up the power-play goal.

In the third period, Miller scored his second goal of the night. The Wranglers center scored an unassisted-goal just ten-seconds into the final period. Miller's sixth goal of the season gave Las Vegas a 3-0 lead. Aces winger Cam Keith scored at 6:57, ending John DeCaro's bid for a shutout and trimming the Wranglers lead to 3-1. Miller completed his first career hat trick with an empty-net goal at 19:28 for the 4-1 lead. Alaska's Jordan Foreman scored with 20-seconds left for the 4-2 final.
