- Chiefs have won the last two meetings at Johnstown to improve to 3-2-2 all-time at home against Elmira.
- Jackals' David Shantz is 3-0-0 with a shutout and a goals-against average of 1.31 in his last four games.
- Johnstown's Wes Clark has five points (1g-4a) in his last four games.
- Elmira's Josh Aspenlind has a four-game point streak (2g-3a).

Florida Everblades (19-6-2) at Charlotte Checkers (14-12-2) 4 p.m. ET
- Everblades' David Leggio is 3-0-0 with a goals-against average of 1.72 in his last three games.
- Checkers' Maxime Daigneault is 5-1-0 with a goals-against average of 2.19 in his last six starts.
- Florida's Kevin Baker has a six-game goal streak (7g) and a six-game point streak (7g-6a).
- Charlotte's Mike Bayrack has a seven-game assist streak (9a) and a seven-game point streak (0g-9a).

Cincinnati Cyclones (13-12-5) at Trenton Devils (10-13-3) 4 p.m. ET
- Devils are 4-0-0 and have outscored their opponents 14-9 in their last four home games.
- Cyclones rookie defenseman Frederic St. Denis had career bests with three assists and three points on Saturday.
- Trenton's Jim Henkel has a three-game goal streak (3g) and a five-game point streak (4g-4a).
- Cincinnati's Loic Lacasse is 2-1-1 with a goals-against average of 2.66 in his last four games.

Wheeling Nailers (18-5-5) at Dayton Bombers (17-10-3) 5 p.m. ET
- Jarret Lukin leads the Bombers against Wheeling with five goals and eight points in five games.
- Bryan Ewing leads the Nailers against Dayton with four goals and seven points in five games.
- Dayton defenseman Dominic D'Amour has a five-game point streak (2g-6a) and a three-game assist streak (5a).

Mississippi Sea Wolves (13-14-3) at South Carolina Stingrays (17-7-3) 5 p.m. ET
- Mississippi's Ryan Cruthers leads league rookies with 18 goals and is second with 35 points in 29 games.
- Stingrays' Maxime Lacroix has seven points, including a team-high four goals, in three games against Mississippi.
- Sea Wolves' Ryan Menei had season highs with two goals and two points on Saturday.
- Stingrays have won the last two games and are 2-0-1 at home and 3-1-2 overall this season against Mississippi.

Alaska Aces (17-11-1) at Las Vegas Wranglers (12-14-2) 2:05 p.m. PT
- Shawn Limpright leads Las Vegas against Alaska with three points (2g-1a) in three games.
- Alexandre Imbeault leads Aces against Las Vegas with four goals and is second with seven points in three games.

- The ECHL celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2007-08 and is the third-longest tenured professional hockey league behind only the National Hockey League and the American Hockey League.

- Former ECHL coaches working as head coaches in the NHL are Bruce Boudreau of the Washington Capitals and Scott Gordon of the New York Islanders. Boudreau, who coached Mississippi for three seasons winning the Kelly Cup championship in 1999, was named NHL Coach of the Year in 2007-08 becoming the first former ECHL coach to receive the award. Peter Laviolette, who began his coaching career with the Wheeling Nailers, led Carolina Hurricanes to the Stanley Cup in 2006.
- There are 18 assistant coaches in the NHL who were players or coaches in the ECHL.
- There are 18 former ECHL officials scheduled to work as part of the NHL officiating team in 2008-09 with referees David Banfield, Chris Ciamaga, Ghislain Hebert, Marc Joannette, Mike Leggo, Wes McCauley, Dean Morton, Dan O'Rourke, Brian Pochmara, Kevin Pollock, Kyle Rehman, Chris Rooney, Justin St. Pierre and Ian Walsh and linesmen Steve Barton, Brian Mach, Tim Nowak and Jay Sharrers. Barton, Joannette, Leggo, McCauley, Nowak, Pollock, Rooney and Sharrers all worked the 2008 Stanley Cup Playoffs.
- ECHL has affiliations with 23 of the 29 teams in the American Hockey League and for the past 19 years there has been an ECHL player on the Calder Cup Champion.
- In the last six seasons the ECHL has had more call-ups to the AHL than all other professional leagues combined with over 2,000 call-ups involving more than 1,000 players since 2002-03.
