Hartford Recalls Murray From Charlotte

Charlotte, N.C. - The Hartford Wolf Pack of the American Hockey League announced today that they have recalled defenseman Chris Murray from the Charlotte Checkers.

Murray, 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, is a second-year pro out of the University of New Hampshire. Earlier this season, he suited up in 12 games with the Wolf Pack registering three assists and 19 penalty minutes. In 15 games with the Checkers this season, the native of Dover, MA tallied one assist and 40 penalty minutes.

The Checkers are playing their 16th season as a member of the ECHL. The next home game will take place today against the Florida Everblades at 4 p.m. In the team's 15-year history, the Checkers have made the playoffs 11 times including four consecutive playoff appearances to date.
