
Military Appreciation Night On Saturday

The Corpus Christi Rayz will be celebrating Military Appreciation Night with a patriotic theme at their home game this Saturday night at the American Bank Center. On Saturday, to honor those who serve our country, ALL veterans and current military members will receive $5 off tickets for both themselves and their family with a military ID. These discounted tickets for veterans and military members are available at the American Bank Center box office only. The Rayz will host the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bees at 7:05pm on Saturday, and then host the New Mexico Scorpions on Sunday afternoon at 3:05pm for Caller-Times Family Day. Saturday night's game against the Killer Bees will be a military tribute game. Throughout the evening, there will be a patriotic presence at American Bank Center Arena. Rayz players will wear special military style jerseys for the contest. All game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off following the game in a special post-game auction at Katz 21 Steak & Spirits. Children will be allowed to attend the post-game auction
In addition to Military Appreciation Night, the Rayz will also be hosting their first Z-95.5 FM College Night of the season. All college students with their valid school ID can receive tickets for as little as $10. Regular priced tickets start at $12 and are available at all Ticketmaster outlets or the American Bank Center box office.
On Sunday, it's Caller-Times Family Day at 3:05pm as the Rayz host the New Mexico Scorpions. Kids 12 and under will receive free tickets with a full paying adult - limit two kids per adult. Plus the Rayz will take the ice with the fans following the game in a free post-game skating session. The first visit of the year by New Mexico features the return to the American Bank Center for former Rayz players Blair Stayzer, Chris Robertson, and Randy Murphy - who is in his first season as a Head Coach.
