Mike Keenan Loaned to Stockton

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. (Feb. 18, 2014) - The Bridgeport Sound Tigers announced today that defenseman Mike Keenan has been loaned to the Stockton Thunder (ECHL).
Keenan, 24, has skated in 41 games for the Sound Tigers this season and collected six points (three goals, three assists). He began the 2013-14 season with the Thunder, where he had two points (one goal, one assist) in three games. He scored his first AHL goal against the Hartford Wolf Pack on Nov. 16.
Keenan was a four-year player at Dartmouth College and served as captain in both his junior and senior years. He had 37 points (nine goals, 28 assists) in his four seasons with the Big Green. He signed an amateur tryout contract (ATO) following the conclusion of his senior season in 2013 and signed an AHL deal in the offseason.
