Miguel Ramírez: "Opponents Know How Difficult It Is to Beat Us Here"

Charlotte FC News Release
CHARLOTTE - Charlotte opens up their 3-match home stretch against Inter Miami. A Miami team with key absences that head coach Miguel Ramírez says will make game planning against them tricky.
"With have so many absences, we don't know what elements we are going to find in specific positions. Makes it difficult to predict what they are going to do.
"But it is true that they have clear behaviors, with a system, that ever since they switched to it, has been pretty good for them."
"And I believe they are going to continue playing with this system because they've been competing better with it... we are using that to prepare against them.
Attackers Kerwin Vargas and Andre Shinyashiki were both announced as new CLTFC signings this week. Shinyashiki has already been training with the squad, and Ramírez shares what he brings to the team.
"We were assessing domestic options since last year, so before starting the competition. And Andre was one of the targets we could get knowing the rules, our budget, and possibilities.
"We believe he's good potential and has already performed in MLS and shown his qualities. And also the possibility to play on the wing, the striker, to play as a second striker gives us more depth that we needed, even more with the injuries we have."
"Now in terms of depth, we are more compensated. We are also able to change the formation in one moment, having more wingers. We were playing a 442 because of the lack of wingers. Now we are able to have more players per position. Flexibility and depth."
Ramírez and his team are unsurprisingly delighted to be playing back at Bank of America Stadium where the team has won three straight matches.
"We are super excited to be at home. The confidence and the support that we have here at home, of course, we don't have away. And playing in front of our people and feel the support and love from our people, is amazing for us.
"And it also scares the opponent. Now they know, opponents know how difficult it is to beat us here and how powerful is the atmosphere and energy in this stadium."
