
Orlando City SC Acquires 2023 First Round Draft Pick, General Allocation Money and Discovery Priority from Chicago Fire FC

Orlando City SC News Release
ORLANDO, Fla. - Orlando City SC has acquired a natural first round pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, $250,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money, $250,000 in 2023 General Allocation and the Discovery Priority to an unnamed player from Chicago Fire FC. In exchange, City has traded the MLS priority to former Lions forward Chris Mueller.
Additionally, Orlando City can earn up to an additional $150,000 in General Allocation Money should certain performance-based conditions be met. The Lions will also retain a portion of Mueller's future transfer fee, should the forward be dealt.
TRANSACTION: Orlando City SC receives a natural first round pick in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft, $250,000 in 2022 General Allocation Money, $250,000 in 2023 General Allocation and Discovery Priority to an unnamed player from Chicago Fire FC in exchange for the MLS priority to Chris Mueller.
