Midco Sports Network to Broadcast RedHawks

FARGO, N.D. - Midco Sports NetworkTM will be broadcasting the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks games against the Sioux Falls Pheasants this weekend. Game times are 6:00 p.m. on Saturday and 1:00 p.m. on Sunday. Midco Sports Network is channel 26 in West Fargo and Moorhead.
RedHawks fans are invited to come out to the games, watch your 5-time champions take on Sioux Falls, and have a chance to be on television.
The RedHawks will also be hosting various promotional events over the weekend. On Saturday, the first 1,000 fans to arrive will receive a Jeff Bittiger Bobblehead courtesy of Mountain Dew. Bittiger pitched in the major leagues for the Phillies, Twins, and White Sox. Jeff was formerly the pitching coach for the RedHawks and is now a player personnel consultant for them. Bittiger's number 35 is one of three numbers retired by the RedHawks. Sunday is Vegas Day as one lucky fan will win four round trip tickets to Las Vegas thanks to Allegiant Air.
Midco Sports Net is the only sports network in the Upper Midwest dedicated to exclusively broadcasting local sports. Coverage includes teams from NCAA Division I and II, the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) and the Summit League, and now the American Association.
Midcontinent Communications launched Midco Sports Net in 2010 to deliver sport programming to nearly 225,000 cable subscribers throughout North Dakota, South Dakota, and Minnesota.
