Moose Jaw Warriors News Release
Moose Jaw, SK: The Moose Jaw Warriors General Manager Chad Lang announced today that the Warriors have acquired 18 year old forward Brayden Metz from the Chilliwack Bruins along with a 6th round bantam pick in 2009 and a 5th round bantam pick in 2010 in exchange for Warriors 20 year olds Brett Ward and Evan Fuller.
Metz, the 6'0 185 pounder from Regina, SK accumulated 4 goals and 10 points for the Bruins last season in 48 games. "He was selected by Regina with the 21st pick in the 2005 WHL Bantam Draft and has proven that he possess the skill level needed to compete and contribute at this level," commented Warriors General Manager Chad Lang. "We are excited to be able to add to our lineup another young forward who has WHL experience."
