Wahl Suspended Three Games
October 7, 2008 - Western Hockey League (WHL)
Spokane Chiefs News Release
Spokane Chief forward Mitch Wahl has been suspended three games by the Western Hockey League under supplemental discipline. Wahl sat out Saturday night's game at Seattle and will miss both of the Chiefs games this week, Friday at Portland and Saturday at home against the Silvertips.
Wahl received a roughing penalty in the second period last Friday against Everett in a play that injured the Silvertip's Graham Potuer.
Through his first six games of the season Wahl leads the club in scoring with five goals and five assists and is +11.
Spokane will travel to Portland on Friday night for a 7:30 match-up. Mike Boyle will go on the air at 7:00 with Comcast Hockey Tonight on 1510 KGA.
Saturday night the Chiefs will host Everett at 7:00 on Skate with the Chiefs Night. Tickets to all home games are available by calling the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
