
Mets Select Contract of Bisons RHP Elmer Dessens

Buffalo Bisons News Release
The New York Mets today announced that they have selected the contract of Buffalo Bisons RHP ELMER DESSENS.
Dessens, 39, spent the first two months of the season with the Bisons and was 5-0 with a 2.12ERA and six saves in 13 appearances (17.0IP, 20H, 4R, 4ER, 3BB, 18K). He led the Herd in both wins and saves. Dessens did not allow a run in final five appearances with Buffalo (7.0IP).
