Lehigh Valley IronPigs News Release

The IronPigs prodigious homestand continues Saturday when the IronPigs break the seal on an action-packed, giveaway-frenzied, four-game series against the Buffalo Bisons at Coca-Cola Park. Three premium giveaways and a Saturday pre-game Happy Hour Concert Series featuring American Idol finalist Tyler Grady's band Wailing Waters highlight the upcoming action at Coca-Cola Park.

As an added bonus this weekend, Northampton High School graduate and current Phillies catcher Brian Schneider will continue a Major League rehab assignment with the IronPigs on Saturday and Sunday. Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is the exclusive sponsor of all Major League rehabilitation appearances at Coca-Cola Park.

Great seats for all upcoming IronPigs home games are still available and can be purchased in-person at Coca-Cola Park, by calling (610) 841-PIGS or online at ironpigsbaseball.com. Prices for single-game tickets remain identical for the third consecutive season and start as low as $6 for General Admission, granting fans access to the Capital BlueCross Lawn seating area and standing room only areas. Field Level reserved seats are just $9.

The fun begins with American Idol finalist and Lehigh Valley native Tyler Grady, and his band Wailing Waters, performing in the AT&T plaza as part of the Saturday pre-game Happy Hour Concert Series. The Plaza gates will open extra-early - at 4:30 p.m. -- so fans can watch batting practice and enjoy the live entertainment. Also, come hungry and thirsty because for one hour fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs and $3 Bud and Bud Lights in the AT&T Plaza.

Also on Saturday, kids ages 6 to 12 can compete in the Topps Attax Regional Tournament with the winner moving on to compete in the National Championships at Citi Field, home of the New York Mets. Tournament registration (free) begins at 5 p.m. with the competition kicking off promptly at 6:30 p.m. in the Red Robin KidsZone.

The IronPigs-Bisons series resumes on Sunday at 1:35 p.m. and the first 2,000 youngsters 17 and under will receive an IronPigs Youth Cap presented by Capital BlueCross. Immediately following Sunday's game, all children 12 and under can show off their speed with the ever-popular Kids Run the Bases post-game promotion presented by Lehigh Valley Health Network.

The series jolts into high gear on Monday at 7:05 p.m. and the first 2,000 children 12 and under receive an IronPigs Green Mini-Bat Giveaway presented by PPL Electric Utilities. Also, all fans 18 and older will receive energy-efficient, eco-friendly light bulbs upon exiting the ballpark courtesy of PPL Electric Utilities.

The series culminates Tuesday at 7:05 p.m. with one of the most anticipated giveaways of the season, an IronPigs Golf Umbrella presented by The Morning Call to the first 3,000 adults 18 and over.

As with every Tuesday home game fans can play TD Bank Ballpark Bingo for a chance to win a $25 Visa Check Card and a team autographed baseball. Also, patrons that are 55 and older (with a ticket to the game) can take advantage of Senior's Early Batting Practice Viewing presented by Phoebe Ministries and enter through the Club Gates to watch batting practice, beginning at 5 p.m.

The last Dance Team Night is also Tuesday, so be sure to come out and support the local dance groups who will be performing on-field as part of the pre-game ceremonies.

With the exception of Saturday home games, the Main Gates open 75 minutes prior to game time while the Club Level gates open 90 minutes before scheduled first pitch time.

Fans are reminded that there are three entry points for parking and are encouraged to use the Dauphin Street entrance when traveling from downtown Allentown. In addition to the Dauphin Street entrance, entry to Coca-Cola Park can be gained off American Parkway and Union Boulevard. Preferred/Handicapped Parking access is available via American Parkway only.

The cost of parking for all IronPigs home games is $3 per vehicle.
