
Mets Select Contract of Bisons' RHP Chris Young

The New York Mets today announced that they have selected the contract of RHP CHRIS YOUNG. Young is expected to start for New York tonight in Washington (7:05 p.m.). He has not yet appeared for the Mets this season.
Young threw six shutout innings in his one start for the Bisons (3BB, 2K) in a no-decision on May 31 vs. Columbus.
In 2011 with the Mets, the righty was 1-0 with a 1.88ERA in four starts before his season was cut short due to shoulder surgery (24.0IP, 22K).
