MEMPHIS, TN - Memphis rolled to their fourth straight win Sunday night with a 6-1 victory at AutoZone Park in front of 13,202 fans.
Brian Barden provided all the offense the Redbirds would need with a first inning grand slam. The slam was the fourth of the season for the âBirds and Barden's fourth home run of the year. Memphis pushed their lead to 5-1 in the bottom of the third when Barden singled and scored. Tyler Greene, Shane Robinson and Barden all had two hits to lead the Redbirds. Oklahoma City's lone run came in the second inning on Zach Zaneski's RBI-single.
Memphis starter Evan MacLane earned his fourth straight win allowing one run on six hits over six innings. The lefty fanned four and walked one in his eighth win of the year. RedHawks starter Elizardo Ramirez took the loss giving up six runs, five earned, on nine hits in five innings.
The Redbirds wrap up the regular season tomorrow afternoon with first pitch scheduled for 1:05 p.m. Oneli Perez will be on the bump for the âBirds and face the RedHawks Bryan Corey.
