Des Moines, Iowa - The Memphis Grizzlies have recalled guard Jordan Adams from the Iowa Energy, the team announced today. Adams began his fourth assignment with Iowa on Jan. 20.
Adams (6-5, 209) posted 23.0 points, 6.6 rebounds, and 3.0 steals in 34.5 minutes in three games in his latest stint in Iowa. He has averaged 19.5 points and 7.0 rebounds on .483 shooting in 32.9 minutes in 10 games for Iowa, with eight double-digit and five 20-plus scoring efforts.
The Atlanta native was selected by Memphis in the first round (22nd overall) of the 2014 NBA Draft after two seasons at UCLA (2012-14). The 20-year old has recorded 2.5 points and 0.7 rebounds in 7.0 minutes through eleven appearances for the Grizzlies this season.
