
Mechanics Beat Generals, 3-2!

Flint, MI â The Motor City Mechanics earned their seventh victory of the season, a 3-2 shootout win over the Flint Generals.
Jim Duhart broke a scoreless deadlock at 6:30 of second period to give the Generals a 1-0 lead. Flint built their lead on a goal from J.P. Morin just over a minute later. Blair Manning brought the Mechanics within one late in the second frame on assists by Jeff Goldie and Kyle Kos.
Motor City tied the game 12 minutes into the third, when Kos slipped one past Generals netminder Dan McIntyre. With the game tied at two, the game headed into a shootout. Rookie Matt Hunter and Kos each scored in the shootout to give the Mechanics their seventh victory of the season.
The Mechanics return home to The Garage on Wednesday, December 29th when they host the Kalamazoo Wings at 7:30 pm. Wednesday is Kids Night Out featuring Dora The Explorer and SpongeBob Squarepants! The game will be broadcast on 1310 AM WXDX.
