
McMillan, All-Stars Triumph in Rapid City

RAPID CITY, S.D. (January 12, 2011) - The Central Hockey League All-Stars- including Quad City Mallards defenseman Darren McMillan- defeated the host Rapid City Rush 11-6 in the 2011 CHL All-Star game Wednesday night.
McMillan finished the night with a plus/minus rating of +4- tied for the second best plus/minus posted in the game.
The All-Stars' attack was led by Bloomington's Jason Dale, who scored twice and picked up five assists for seven points, and by Wichita's Matt Robinson and Evansville's Brian Bicek, both of whom recorded hat tricks.
The Mallards return to regular season CHL action at home Friday at 7:05 p.m. against the Rush. The first 1,000 fans ages 13 and over through the doors of the i wireless Center for that game will receive free Mallards caps courtesy of WLLR.
Tickets for Friday's game- and all Mallards regular season home games- are available in person at the i wireless Center box office, at Ticketmaster outlets, through www.ticketmaster.com or through Ticketmaster charge-by-phone toll free at 1-800-745-3000. The ticket office is open Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and on game days other than Sunday from 10:00 a.m. until the end of the first period. On Sundays on which the Mallards play at home the ticket office is open from 1:00 p.m. until the end of the first period.
