Eastman All-Star Alternate Captain

Tulsa Oilers defenseman Derek Eastman will have a little something extra on his all-star jersey Wednesday night. Eastman, the Oilers player assistant coach is an alternate captain for Team CHL in the all-star game against the defending Ray Miron President Cup champion Rapid City Rush.

CHL co-coaches Dwight Mullins (Allen Americans) and Scott Hillman (Missouri Mavericks) appoint Sebastien Thinnel of the Odessa Jackalopes as CHL captain, and Eastman and nathn Lutz of the Mississippi RiverKings as alternate captains.

The All-Star game takes place Wednesday night in Rapid City at 7:35 p.m., central time. Fans have a chance to bid on Eastmans (and all of the all-star jerseys) in an on line auction through January 20th by logging on to http://www.rapidcityrush.com/gear/auctions.

The Oilers return home game Friday January 14th against Arizona at 7:35 p.m., and host Bossier-Shreveport Saturday at 7:35 p.m.
