Trimm, who was voted to start the game on December 23rd, will team up with 18 other CHL All-Stars who are all seeing action in their first CHL All-Star Game, with the exception of Sebastien Thinel to take on the defending President's Cup Champion Rush.
Trimm has already set a new career high in points this season with 48 (12-3648), surpassing his previous career high of 43 set in his rookie season in 2008-09. Trimm's 48 points put him fourth in the league in scoring, and he will enter Laredo's game against Rio Grande Valley on a six-game point streak.
Since the CHL has adapted the unique format of the home team comprising the opponent for the CHL All-Stars, the host club has won each time with Colorado defeating the CHL All-Stars, 8-4, in 2009 and the South Texas All-Stars (players from Laredo, RGV and Corpus Christi) winning last year's game, 9-4.
