Harrisburg Senators News Release

Scott McGregor turned in a fine performance for the Harrisburg Senators on Saturday night, leading Harrisburg to a 3-0 victory over the New Hampshire Fisher Cats before 6,579 fans at Metro Bank Park.

McGregor allowed just three singles and a walk in his six scoreless innings. The righty, who threw 49 of 79 pitches for strikes, has allowed just six runs in 20 innings over his last four starts. Paul Demny followed with two scoreless innings of his own to lower his season ERA to 2.82. Robert Benincasa finished off the Fisher Cats with a scoreless ninth inning for his fourth save of the season.

Caleb Ramsey (2-for-4, run) led off the bottom of the first with his second triple of the year. Jose Lozada followed with a sacrifice fly to put the Senators on top, 1-0. In the second inning, Jason Martinson (2-for-3, RBI) led off with his seventh home run of the year. Martinson's solo shot cleared the right field fence and boardwalk at Metro Bank Park, extending the Senators lead to two. The Senators added their third run in the fourth inning as Kevin Keyes scored on an error as New Hampshire almost turned an inning-ending double play, but had the throw to first sail out of play. Quincy Latimore pitched in his 15th multi-hit game of the season, going 2-for-3.

The four-game series between Harrisburg and New Hampshire concludes tomorrow with a 2:00 p.m. start. Paolo Espino will start for the Senators against the Fisher Cats' Scott Copeland. The game can be heard beginning with the pregame show at 6:45 a.m. on 1460 AM or via senatorsbaseball.com, 1460theticket.com or the iHeart Radio app.
