McGinnis Named NWL Player of the Night

Waterloo, Iowa - The Northwoods League has named Waterloo Bucks first baseman Adam McGinnis the NWL Player of the Night for his efforts in Waterloo's 12-11 loss to the Kalamazoo Growlers on Thursday. The sophomore from Western Illinois University recorded two hits on the night, a double and a three-run home run. McGinnis finished with four RBI and two runs scored.

This season for the Bucks, McGinnis owns a .256 batting average with one homer and eight RBI.

The Bucks play the Kalamazoo Growlers on the road tonight at 6:05 pm CT. Tonight's game can be heard on 1650 The Fan and online at www.waterloobucks.com with play-by-play announcer Matt Gruemmer. The Bucks will return home on Monday June 15 to face the Mankato MoonDogs at 7:05 pm.
