Macon Mayhem News Release
One game after setting the franchise record for goals in a game, the Macon Mayhem suffered its first shutout on home ice, losing to the Peoria Rivermen, 4-0 Thursday night at the Macon Coliseum.
The Mayhem never got untracked, getting outshot in the first period 12-1. Connor Toomey and Ben Power had first period goals for the Rivermen. Dave Pscenyczny and Adam Stuart scored in the second period for Peoria, which extended its league high winning streak to 11 games.
The Mayhem play at Penasacola Saturday and Sunday. The next home game is Thursday February 4 also against Peoria. That will be the first game of the Mayhem's three game salute to the military extravaganza.
