The Mavericks and Bucks meet twice this week at Independence Events Center. These are the only two games of the season between the two clubs as the Mavericks will not travel to Laredo this season. Missouri currently is tied for fourth place with the Rapid City Rush in the Turner Conference with a record of 11-9-3 and 25 points. The Mavericks earned three of a possible four points in their last two road games in Quad City and Evansville. The Bucks are ranked seventh in the Berry Conference with 18 points and a 9-14-0 record. Missouri is 2-2-0 all-time against the Bucks and 1-2-0 all-time at Independence Events Center.

Price Chopper Two-For-Tuesday - The Mavericks first Tuesday game of the season is tomorrow, Tuesday, December 20 when the team hosts the Laredo Bucks. It is the first of five Price Chopper Two-For-Tuesday games in which fans can purchase two-for-one tickets in the Terrace or Center Ice levels. Fans must bring their Chopper Shopper card to the Box Office or go online and input the code "ChopperXXXX" in which the X's represent the last 4 digits on the Chopper Shopper card.
Super Tuesday - In addition to two-for-one tickets, fans can also purchase $1 hot dogs and $3 drafts all game long. All fans in attendance will also receive a free Pepsi Max 2-liter coupon upon entrance.
KC Blades Jersey Auction - The Mavericks will throw back to the Kansas City Blades days when they wear KC Blades jerseys at the game on Friday, December 23 against the Laredo Bucks. The jerseys will then be auctioned off following the game and a portion of the proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Kansas City.
Notes
Road Warriors - The Mavericks are 9-3-2 this season on the road for an impressive .714 win percentage. Missouri is tied for the most road wins in the CHL with the Allen Americans and the Quad City Mallards. Of Missouri's 25 total points, the Mavericks have earned 20 of them away from home.
Comeback Kids - In each of the Mavericks last two games, the team has come back from third period deficits and forced overtime. Missouri trailed Quad City 2-1 in the third period on Saturday and scored with 3:02 remaining in the game to force overtime. The Mavericks eventually lost in the overtime period, but earned an extra point in the standings. On Sunday, Missouri erased a 3-1 deficit and scored with 7.5 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime. John-Scott Dickson scored his third goal of the game in overtime to give the Mavericks a 4-3 victory over the Evansville IceMen.
Hat trick - Mavericks' forward John-Scott Dickson recorded his first hat trick with the club on Sunday against the Evansville IceMen and the first-year Maverick added an assist for a total of four points. Dickson is currently ranked third on the Mavericks in scoring with 21 points this season and he leads the team with 12 goals.
Chicago Wolves - The Mavericks' AHL affiliate, the Chicago Wolves, have won four of their last five games and have climbed into third place in the Midwest Division. Chicago is currently 13-10-1-3 for 30 points and they trail the first-place Charlotte Checkers by just six points. Chicago is led by Darren Haydar who has 28 points on eight goals and 20 assists in 26 games played. The Wolves play just one game this week when the Abbotsford Heat head to Chicago on Thursday.
