Notes: Texas skates into Dayton for the first meeting this season between the Brahmas and Gems. Currently in 4th place in the rival Berry Conference, Texas brings their 12-8-5 record which would be good enough for second place in Dayton's Turner Conference standings while the Gems sit with an even 10-10-4 record headed into the matchup. Thursday night's game is also a "Thirsty Thursday" at Hara, and the first 500 fans will receive a Gems player stadium cup. College students can also pick up two tickets for the price of one with their valid college ID at the Hara Box Office on game night.
Friday, December 23 - Dayton Gems vs Fort Wayne Komets, 7:00pm EST (Hara Arena)
Radio: wave96.net
Video: CHL-TV (www.chltv.neulion.com)
Notes: After battling their way to the top of the standings last weekend, the Komets renew their rivalry with the Gems after most recently picking up a 4-2 win over Dayton in Fort Wayne back on December 11. Friday night is the return of the "Teddy Bear Toss", as well as Angry Birds Night, with the first 500 fans receiving their own plush Angry Bird complete with game-inspired contests and promotions throughout the night.
