Mavericks vs Americans Game Postponed

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks have postponed their Tuesday night home game against the Allen Americans due to inclement weather. The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday, February 25th.

"We had significant safety concerns for our players, employees and fans and because of this, we wanted to get ahead of the situation and look to reschedule this game," stated Mavericks President Brent Thiessen.

Tickets purchased for the February 4th game will be accepted at the February 25th game. Fans that have already purchased tickets for the February 4th game must hold on to their tickets and present them upon entrance to the February 25th game.

Kennedy's Custom Jewelers 'Diamond Giveaway,' originally scheduled for Tuesday night, will take place during the Mavericks game on Saturday, February 8th at the Independence Events Center.

The Mavericks have also decided to postpone the "Guys Night Out" event at Isle of Capri Casino due to the weather. The event planned for Wednesday, February 5th, will be rescheduled for a later date. Details to be determined.
