
Mavericks Place 1st in Thirteen CHL 'Best of the Best' Categories

INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The results are in and the Missouri Mavericks have captured thirteen 1st place recognitions from the Central Hockey League's 2013-14 `Best of the Best' poll. The Mavs have also been recognized with eight 2nd place and 12 3rd place spots in the poll results for a total of thirty-three awards.
The Mavericks have claimed tops spots for Best Playmaker- Sebastien Thinel, Best Shooter in Shootouts- Sebastien Thinel, Best Penalty Killer- John-Scott Dickson, Best Defensive Defenseman- Matt Stephenson, Best Fighter (Heavyweight)- Colt King, Best Power Forward- Colt King, Most Gentlemanly Player- Mike Ramsay, Best Fans, Toughest Building to Win In, Best PA Announcer, Best Team Website, Best Mascot, and Best On-Ice Promotions.
