Sundogs Named 11 Times in CHL's Best of the Best Poll

Prescott Valley, AZ - The Central Hockey League's (CHL) annual "Best of the Best" Poll was released today and the Arizona Sundogs were named in 11 of the 50 categories. Voting is conducted by CHL players, coaches and operational staff from each of the league's 10 teams.

Andrew Engelage received top credit as "Best Goaltender" and voted second for "Best Goaltender in Shootouts". Jason Morgan received first place honors for the second consecutive year, for "Best Player on Face-Offs" and "Best Leader". He was also named second for "Best Defensive Forward". This year two Arizona Sundogs players were voted as "Most Annoying Player", the first Sebastian Geoffrion and second Garrett Clarke.

Arizona also received accolades being voted first for "Best Arena Concessions", second for "Best Team Uniforms", "Best Team Website", and third for "Best Use of Social Media". The Sundogs' host hotel, the Hampton Inn & Suites also received accolades being voted second as the "Best Host Hotel".

The Arizona Sundogs will close out their final six games of the 2013-14 regular season in Prescott Valley at Tim's Toyota Center, hosting the Denver Cutthroats March 19th, 21st, 22nd before closing out their season against the Wichita Thunder on March 26th, 28th and 29th.
