
Lavoie Cleans up in Rookie Votes

Allen Americans News Release
Allen, Texas - The Central Hockey League handed out the Best of the Best Awards today and the Allen Americans finished well with 19 points total, good for third overall in the CHL.
Americans Rookie forward, Alex Lavoie, finished first in the category of Best Rookie. Lavoie took 9 of 10 first place votes. Tyler Ludwig finished first in Best Offensive Defenseman, while Tommy Daniels finished first overall in the category of Best Broadcaster. The Allen Americans Ice Angels finished first in Best Cheerleaders/Dance Team, while the Americans finished first in best uniform and The Hampton Inn and Suites was voted best visiting hotel.
Tyler Ludwig finished 2nd overall in the category of Hardest Shot. The Americans as a team finished second overall in the following categories, Best Training Staff, Most Skilled Team, Best Logo, and Best Arena Music.
Trevor Hendrikx finished third in the category of Best Bodychecker. Allen as a team finished third in the following categories, Best Press Box, Best Ice Surface, and Best On-Ice Promotions.
