INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Missouri Mavericks have won two of the first three games of their current nine-game home stand. They look for win number three tonight as they play host to the Cincinnati Cyclones for the second of a three-game series at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.

WHO: Missouri Mavericks (16-18-7) vs. Cincinnati Cyclones (18-18-4)

WHAT: Season Game #42, Home Game #18 - Cheeze's Princess Party and Bobblehead Giveaway. The first 1,500 fans will receive a Princess Cheeze bobblehead doll. Various princess characters will be in attendance and visiting/posing for pictures with fans.

WHEN: Friday, January 27, 2017 at 7:35 p.m.

The Mavericks are facing the Cyclones tonight for the third of four meetings this season and the second of three at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena. The Mavericks are 1-0-1 against the Cyclones this season after Wednesday's 5-4 win. Tonight is just the fourth time ever the Mavericks have faced the Cyclones on home ice, and they sport a 3-0-0 record in those games. Before Wednesday, Missouri's last home wins over Cincinnati were December 18 & 19, 2015 by scores of 5-2 and 3-2, respectively. The Mavericks have won four of their last six games on home ice dating back to New Year's Eve, while the Cyclones are 8-13-0 on the road this season, which includes a 4-5-0 road record this month. Eleven of Cincinnati's 12 games this month are on the road.

ONE-TIMER

Carter Verhaeghe recorded four points (1g, 3a) Wednesday to extend his point streak to a team-high nine games. He has 20 points (7g, 13a) over that stretch. In his Mavericks career, Verhaeghe has scored at least one point in 24 of 30 games.
