
Mavericks Assign Anderson, Evans and Mejri to the Texas Legends

DALLAS - The Dallas Mavericks announced today that they have assigned guard Justin Anderson, forward Jeremy Evans and center Salah Mejri to the Texas Legends of the NBA Development League.
Anderson (6-6, 228) is averaging 2.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 7.6 minutes in 23 games (one start) for Dallas this season. The rookie guard scored 5 points and added 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals in 27 minutes at Oklahoma City on Jan. 13.
Evans (6-9, 200) is averaging 2.2 points, 2.0 rebounds and 8.9 minutes in 26 games (two starts) for Dallas this season. The forward recently registered 5 points, 4 rebounds, 2 blocks and a steal in 9 minutes at San Antonio on Jan. 17.
Mejri (7-2, 235) has seen action in six games for the Mavericks this year and is averaging 2.8 points and 2.3 rebounds in 7.5 minutes per game. He recorded career highs of 17 points, 9 rebounds and 25 minutes at Oklahoma City on Jan. 13.
Anderson, Evans and Mejri will join the Legends and be available for Thursday's game when they take on the Bakersfield Jam at 7 p.m. CT at Dr Pepper Arena in Frisco.
