San Antonio FC News Release
SAN ANTONIO, TX - San Antonio FC (2-5-4) will face Portland Timbers 2 (5-6-1) at Merlo Field on Saturday, June 11 at 9 p.m. The match will be the first time the two clubs face each other and the only time they will meet this season.
Coverage of the match will be available at SanAntonioFC.com and the USL Match Center.
SAFC will travel to Portland in search of three points after falling 0-1 to Rio Grande Valley FC in Edinburg last weekend. The team currently sits in 12th place on the league standings, and has not recorded a win in USL play since April 30.

Despite not scoring since May 15, San Antonio FC leads the Western Conference in shots (139) and shots on goal (62). The team's last goal came from midfielder Danny Garcia against OKC Energy FC.
Portland will aim to improve on their 2015 record (11-15-2), where the team scored 38 goals and conceded 45. Midfielder Neco Brett will lead the club's attack against San Antonio. Brett has scored four goals in 12 appearances so far this season.
San Antonio FC will then return to U.S. Open Cup action on June 15 as they travel to Houston to face the Houston Dynamo (MLS) after advancing to the fourth round of the tournament with a win against the Des Moines Menace on June 1.
