New York Red Bulls News Release
HARRISON, N.J. - Concluding their fourth road match over the last five games, the New York Red Bulls (9-8-4, 31 pts) travel to Orlando City SC (7-9-5, 26 pts) for a nationally-televised game on Sunday at Exploria Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7:30 p.m. EST with coverage on FS1, Fox Sports Go and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
New York Red Bulls Radio begins at 6:30 p.m. ET with Countdown to Kickoff, presented by Honda, hosted by Matt Harmon.
New York and Orlando City will meet for the 11th time in league play as the Red Bulls own a 5-4-1 record in the all-time series. New York has struggled in Orlando, going winless in their last three matches (0-2-1) with both losses decided by one goal. The Red Bulls will look to bounce back from their early-season loss to OCSC, 1-0, in March as former Red Bull Sacha Kljestan scored the game-winning goal.
New York continues to see production from their No. 9 position while Bradley Wright-Phillips looks to return to 90-minute fitness. The Red Bulls 2018 MLS SuperDraft selections Brian White (First Round) and Tom Barlow (Second Round) have taken advantage of their playing time, while BWP returns to form as they have combined for eight goals and two assists in 1,260 minutes played in league play. New York is 3-2-3 when either White or Barlow score a goal.
New York aims to bounce back from Wednesday's 3-1 road loss to Toronto. The Red Bulls own a 3-2-2 mark in league play following a loss with a plus-three goal differential (13 GF, 10 GA). New York has responded with multi-goal performances in four of the seven matches following a loss.
New York returns to Red Bull Arena for two consecutive matches, beginning with Columbus Crew SC on Saturday, July 27. New York-Columbus match is set for 8 p.m. EST and with coverage on MSG, MSG Go, and New York Red Bulls Radio on TuneIn.
